• What is PRP?

  PRP (Platelets Rich Plasma) is a highly concentrated sample of autologous platelets and growth factors that may optimize the condition of healing.

• What kinds of conditions can prevent me from using the Ballancer?

  Use of the Ballancer is not recommended in the presence of the following conditions:

  • Any pain or numbness
  • Severe arteriosclerosis or other ischemic vascular diseases
  • Unbalanced cardiac insufficiency
  • Known or suspected deep vein thrombosis or thrombophlebitis
  • Gangrene
  • Dermatitis
  • Untreated or infected wounds
  • Severe inflammation of the skin
  • Recent skin grafts

• Are there any things/conditions/situations to avoid that may complicate results?

  Yes, there are some:

  • Allergies to the sun or light sensitivity
  • Malignant tumors or a precancerous skin condition
  • Receiving retinoids within six months before the procedure
  • The presence of keloids in the processing
  • Any infection that results in a skin abnormality or abrasion (e.g., herpes)
  • Any bleeding disorders or thromboembolic condition
  • Cardiovascular issues/abnormalities
  • A pacemaker
  • Diabetes
  • Self-tanned skin (the application of self-tanning creams)
  • The procedure is not recommended during pregnancy
  • Nickel allergy, as the electrodes of the device are nickel-plated

• What is the Ballancer?
